8th - 11th August was the annual YFC Young Leaders Camp at Lake Babogaya about 100 km from Addis Ababa.
What a great time we all had.
These young people love to worship God
in communal singing,
they were fully engaged
with David's talks
and the material he presented.
As we considered Hebrews and what is tells us about leadership,
the young people were eager to represent the story dramatically.

There was plenty of time for quality conversations
with old friends
and new,
enjoying the view
whilst chatting with friends,
breaks for swinging on swings,
for sporting competition,
of various sorts,
and degrees of cold,
a birthday celebration
The campfire down by the lake on the last night
was great
with lots of good entertainment,
fun games,
challenges
and prayer. . . . .
of thanks to God for a wonderful time together learning more about and growing closer to Jesus, for the young people graduating from uni and going to new places and for the year ahead and whatever it holds for each of us.
Such a great camp. So thankful to be able to share in this special time.
And so thankful for the Australians who contributed financially to make this camp possible for these young people.
